This cabin has fantastic views of Mountaintown Creek from every window. The river is so clean and crystal clear that you can see the Rainbow Trout swim right up to the rocky shore. If your love is fishing, this place is for you! Mountain Town Creek is ranked as one of the best Trout Streams in North Georgia. From the many porches, you can hear the rushing river. Enjoy all this as you and your family roasts marshmallows around the large OUTDOOR FIRE PIT area overlooking the river.

Located in beautiful Ellijay, Georgia, it is a scenic 90 minute drive from the Atlanta area, which provides the perfect weekend vacation getaway. The Coosawattee River Resort is a great community offering an extra layer of safety and convenience from the 24/7 gated security.

Luxury sleeping accommodations include TWO MASTER SUITES with over sized King Beds. Both Master bedrooms have access to private decks, one with a stacked stone outdoor fireplace and the other with a cozy swing for two. In the Terrace Level we you’ll have a plush Queen bed with an amazing view of the river.

The Large Kids Room has three sets of high quality bunk beds and a Full sized futon which connects to the game room. Upstairs in the loft are two Queen sized futons.

This lodge offers the ultimate in luxury accommodations and provides room to comfortably sleep up to 18 people. If you need more room, we also have rentals nearby that can be added.

Come spend a weekend or longer in our log cabin and feel the cares of everyday life slip away. Soak in the seven person HOT TUB, relax in the porch swing or play a few games on the FOOSBALL table or pool table with the family.

If you can tear yourself away from all that relaxing, there are plenty of things to do in the area, including all kinds of lake and river water sports, hiking, mountain biking, antique and crafts shopping, scenic drives, and golf.

There is abundant wildlife in the area, including rainbow trout, black bear, whitetail deer, beavers and wild turkey. Our Georgia mountain cabin offers privacy, peace and quiet, and cool mountain breezes, and is just minutes from the shops and restaurants in Ellijay and the Blue Ridge area.

This cabin exceeded all my expectations. It was beautifully decorated and very convenient. The cabin had plenty of room inside and lots of spacious porches to enjoy on the second and third floors. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The stream was amazing. We spent most of the days relaxing in the water and watched the kids tube and fly fish. We will be booking this cabin again and I highly recommend it to anyone.
